Play Date!

Well we had a play date today with Kyla's best friend Emily. Which worked out really great. Her mommy is pregnant with baby number 3 and they also have a little girl about Laney's age. We went to the Science Spectrum. It is such a wonderful place and we finally got to see the newest water works exhibit which is really messy and lots of fun. The girls loved it. Well we got to pack lunches in our new lunch boxes which they loved and then we got to see the repitle show. We had the chance to pet lizards and snakes but we didn't. (That was very much to the excitment of their mommy.)

Well it has been a very uneventful week so far which I quess is a really good thing. We are just in countdown mode until the little makes its apperance.

Will It Ever Stop?

Well this is the last week before we start back to our preschool. The girls are really excited and the both really like their teachers. This week we are running a practice schedule so that we are not late for preschool. So far I don't think it has worked out that well, but we are trying. I will be starting my second year as an infant class teacher at SNS and I am really excited. We have written some new curriculum and I really like it. The bonus is I get to be really close to my new little one.

Kyla is counting down the days until the baby comes she is getting so excited and I know she will make a wonderful big, big sister. Laney is already having a few issues, but I know it will all be ok. I have my next appointment with my high risk specialist on Sept. 5. We are really hoping to find out for sure what we will be having, (I am betting that we won't find out until it makes its apperance). Kyle and I are ready for our little one, we have less the 9 weeks and we just can't wait. We did have a small scare yesterday and I got to spend some time in labor and delivery because I passed out in my bathroom. The nurse said that is normal this late in pregnancy and I should not be concered unless it happens several more times. I feel like I am getting biger by the day. It is really taking me a lot longer to get up and at it though.

Last week Kyla turned 4 I can't believe that she is getting so big. Next year she will be in Kindergarten and I just can't believe that she is already so big. She had a wonderful birthday party with lots of her friends. She also got her big girl bike which she was very excited about it.

Well now we have hit the new topic of halloween costumes. Kyla keeps changing her mind day to day. Laney will just be happy with whatever and the baby is just going to reuse Laney's old costume and be a football. Kyla keeps telling me that if the baby is a girl then it can't be a football, because footballs are for boys. So it will be interesting to see what we end up doing for halloween. That is if we get to do halloween since that is the day the baby is due, but we shall see. Well I guess I have talked enough for today. Have a wonderful week

I Am So Bad at This

Well I am terrible about getting on here and keeping everyone updated. Since Kyla's surgery life has really not slowed down any at all. She recovered really well and it seems that the surgery has worked! Praise God.

We are now awaiting the arrival of our new little one. As I wrote in a previous blog we are having a girl, they may not be true. They are less than 40% sure that it is a girl and we have been unable to get another good look at the baby. We go in for another u/s on Sept. 5 we are hoping to find out something then. (We are really hoping that God blesses us with a boy, for Kyle's sake more than anything). We first an foremost want a healthy happy baby though! We have the names picked out, our girl name is Madisyn Hope and our boy name is Korbyn Robert. We are getting very anxious and the girls are getting really excited. Kyla is more excited than Laney I think. I really don't think Laney wants to share her mommy.

Well so far the month of August has been a very busy one. We have already had two bithday parties and we will have one more this week. We took a mini vacation to Abilene at the begining of Aug. and the girls had a wonderful time. We went to the Zoo and just spent some time together. We were only there for a day but we had a great time and realized we still miss Abilene a little. (Don't get us wrong we would not trade anything for getting to be as close as we are to our families now.)

Well life has been really busy and we are now getting ready for another year at SNS. We are very excited and Kyla and Laney both have learned so much. It is amazing how much they really learn. Kyla can count to 13 in spanish and knows most of her colors is spanish as well. The first time she did that I was so shocked but I guess by babies won't stay babies forever. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I am honestly going to try and keep everyone updated more often.
